Mary is a highly experienced professional with an educational and professional background in nursing and over 25 years in clinical data management. Mary has proven experience in the global data management of Phase I-IV trials of varying complexity across a wide array of therapeutic areas. As a Director of Clinical Data Management at eClinical Solutions, Mary is responsible for managing, developing, and coaching data management associates for continued growth within their roles, as well as overseeing direct data management functions ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

Cassandra Leary

Manager of External Data, eClinical Solutions

Cassandra Leary has 15 years’ experience within clinical data management, specializing in the efficient management of laboratory and external data. Her experience spans clinical trial phases, and multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, respiratory disorders, gynecology and infectious disease. As Manager of External Data with the Biometrics Services group at eClinical Solutions, Cassandra leads the Center of Excellence for External Data, collaborating with cross functional data stakeholders to develop and implement global standards for the collection, processing, reporting and analysis of external and local lab data. A natural communicator, Cassandra successfully manages a range of external vendor relationships including clinical CROs (Contract Research Organizations), lab vendors, IVRS (Interactive Voice Response Systems) to streamline communication and delivery. She works closely with sponsors of all sizes to devise and implement strategies that enable them to maximize the value of their external data and reduce cycle times in an era of increasingly complex trials.
